I have always been fascinated by the effect that shifting light and shadow, changing colours and the distortion of rippled waters have on reflected images. One evening at sunset, I was energized by the vitality of the patterns cast on the water by the Adirondack chairs on the dock. I have tried, with the useof rich, vibrant oranges and yellows, to generate in the viewer that same appreciation of warmth and energy.
