Artist's Statement: Sub-zero temperatures and the prospect of drilling through three feet of ice do not discourage these keen anglers. For Myron and Joe, a day of ice fishing at Twelve Mile Portage on Lake of the Woods and a fine catch of walleye are well worth the effort.

Medium/Technique: Layered machine appliqué, thread painting, discharge dyeing, denim, cotton, nylon acetate, netting.
