Miniature Landscape Illusions

By playing with scraps of fabric and exploring the tricks of creating an illusion of visual depth, you will create miniature fabric landscapes and learn different ways of displaying them. Layered machine appliqué and raw edge appliqué are the techniques that are used. We will also explore thread painting and couching of yarns to embellish these small creations. It is an advantage to have experience doing free motion stitching.

 Sewing machine is required for the second day.
